ABOUT ME
Who I Am
I am an artist, a writer, and a memoirist—but also a mother, grandmother, and cancer survivor. My writing delves into the calm and challenging junctures in my life that have shaped me, ultimately, the human condition that shapes all of us.
Through art and storytelling, I explore resilience, memory, and inner strength during life's defining turning points. I am a keeper of memories—committed to preserving the moments that define the human spirit—that connect us.
My Journey
My journey as a writer and artist began during a time of illness—I turned to creativity to make sense of fear, gratitude, and healing.
Over the years, I discovered that sharing stories—mine and those inspired by life around me—can comfort, connect, and remind us we are never truly alone.
Why I Write
I write because it began as my emotional release, to make sense of the pain and the illness—to heal, to grow, to connect with the world, and to leave a legacy. Today, I share my art and stories in the hope that someone, somewhere, might find peace, inspiration, or simply the reassurance that they feel less alone. These early stories are the foundation of my journey—where it all began— the moments that shaped who I am today. These experiences led to growth, creativity, and the reflections that became my Light and Shadows series.
